Use This App to Upload iPhone Photos and Sell Them as Stock

Upload iPhone photos with Stockimo App

You’ll need an iPhone for this…

(No Android app just yet. Sorry Aliens).

I have a HTC. That’s just what I got when I was tempted into getting a smart phone back in the day. You can’t go back in time so I’ll use my HTC until the time comes to pocket a new shiny iPhone.

But anyways.

Alamy Images have released a free Stockimo app (application) that lets iPhone users upload iPhone photos.

Then you can sell those (brilliant) images through Alamy (if the images make the grade!)

Stockimo’s different to other photo apps, it’s plugged into Alamy and our distribution network so you’ll get the same prices for your iPhone photos as you do for your camera shots.

If you’re already an existing Alamy contributor (like me) you’ll get 50% commission on your Stockimo iPhone pics (compared to the Stockimo standard 20%).

Ready to start uploading those iPhone photos?

To get 50% log in to Stockimo using the same email and password you use to log for your Alamy login. You’ll need to read the contract as it’s a bit different to the normal Alamy contract.

We believe in the value of mobile photography – a smartphone is with you all the time. The spontaneous and natural feel of mobile imagery shines through. Whether you shoot with Stockimo in mind or trawl through your camera roll for cool stuff you’ve already taken, we’d love to see it for sale on Alamy. We see Stockimo as a great addition for contributors – for those moments when your phone is your camera.
