Flying a Mavic Pro for the first time – much better than I ever dreamed of! Have a close look at the superb quality of the Mavic Pro video resolution…

I put together a few little clips of my first flights in the video below. Will take a while for me to become good at piloting… nearly lost the Mavic at like 400 metres away in a field…

It’s so easy to become overconfident you can fly that thing anywhere. Maybe I was just awe-struck at what it could do. Or something.

At 400 metres away I honestly couldn’t tell if it was moving left or right, up or down… so I hit return to home and she jumped up to 60 metres and came speeding back…

That’s why you ALWAYS need to calibrate your compass on the Mavic Pro (before every flight).

Methinks having your own Mavic Pro flight checklist is a SMART idea.
